Heidi Vangelisti

After starting her career in fashion, Heidi moved on to design and spent years styling interiors for family and friends prior to starting her own firm - and with parents in real estate, who bought and sold (and remodeled and decorated) more than 20 homes, you could say she’s been living and breathing design her entire life.

Originally started with a focus on home staging, Birds Eye View Designs has branched out into all areas of interiors in its 10 years in business. From home styling to full remodel or just a few changes in a room, Heidi approaches each project on a very personal level, and treats every home as if it were her own. Her fully collaborative approach means a truly unique design that’s distinctly reflective of you and your life. And worry not: even if your budget isn’t as robust as you’d like, Heidi is obsessed with getting the “look” for less (they know her by name at HomeGoods and Target).

A loud 6ft blonde, Heidi’s been married to a wonderful man for 29 years and has two grown children, who all continue to amaze her (and drive her crazy) every day. She doesn’t mind a well-placed cuss word (29 years and two kids, remember?), and tries to life by the words of her grandmother: “What I have will do. What I make of it is up to me” (though her shoe collection begs to differ).
